Our Strategy

Our Strategy 2025-2030

At United Youth Alliance, our five-year strategy sets out a bold vision for youth-led social action rooted in local communities. From 2025 to 2030, we are focused on creating a Fylde Coast of social action – empowering young people to lead change, shape policy, and build stronger, more inclusive communities. Through place-based activation, workforce development, and powerful partnerships, we aim to transform how youth and community work is delivered, ensuring young voices are at the heart of everything we do.

  1. Strengthen Place-Based Youth and Community Activation
  • Develop and support projects that engage young people and communities in their local areas, ensuring they lead social action and decision-making.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with local organisations to co-design and deliver programmes rooted in community assets.

  1. Expand Capacity-Building Services
  • Deliver high-quality, accessible training, research, and consultancy tailored to the needs of youth and community organisations.
  • Create resources and toolkits that support inclusive, evidence-based youth work and community development practices.

  1. Elevate Youth and Community Voice in Policy and Practice
  • Facilitate platforms and networks for young people and communities to influence local and national policy.
  • Use research and data to amplify lived experiences and advocate for systemic change.

  1. Foster Inclusive and Collaborative Partnerships
  • Build diverse coalitions across sectors, including local authorities, voluntary organisations, and education providers, rooted in shared power and mutual respect.
  • Ensure partnerships reflect and uphold the values of equity, inclusion, and integrity.

  1. Promote Learning, Innovation, and Growth
  • Embed ongoing evaluation and reflective practice in all projects to improve impact and share learning widely.
  • Support workforce development through continuous training and new qualifications aligned with sector needs.
