The United Youth Alliance 2025–2026 Impact Report captures a year of youth voice, social action, collaboration and community across Blackpool, Fylde, Wyre and beyond. Throughout the year, we have worked alongside young people, schools, communities, businesses, local authorities and national organisations to create opportunities for young people to be seen, heard and valued.
From speaking in Parliament and contributing to the development of the National Youth Strategy, to leading workshops, creating podcasts, delivering training and taking action within their own communities, young people have been at the heart of everything we do. The report explores work tackling issues including violence against women and girls, healthy masculinity, community safety, inclusion, identity and social justice, alongside projects designed to build confidence, leadership and belonging.
This year has also seen UYA strengthen its role as a connector across the youth sector. Place-based partnership working has continued to grow across Wyre and Fylde, while our work has extended into national campaigns, youth-led research, workforce development and consultancy. This has included research shaped by the experiences of more than 500 young women, the development of the Coastal Youth Alliance Partnership, delivery of recognised youth work qualifications and work supporting youth participation and system change beyond the Fylde Coast.
Above all, the report tells the stories of the young people behind the work: their experiences, ideas, ambitions and determination to make a difference. It demonstrates what can happen when young people are genuinely listened to, given the right support and trusted to help shape the decisions, services and communities around them.
