UYA continues to bring young people, professionals and organisations together to create positive change across Blackpool, Fylde, Wyre and beyond. Our work focuses on supporting young men and boys, challenging stereotypes, strengthening youth work and tackling issues affecting young people.
From the What About the Boys conference, which brought together more than 120 professionals, to projects supporting over 200 boys across 17 schools, we are creating spaces for learning, collaboration and meaningful change.
We are also committed to ending violence against women and girls, through initiatives including Reclaim the Night, the 16 Days of Activism campaign and new VAWG training designed with young people, for young people.
By listening to young people, challenging harmful narratives and working together, the UYA is turning conversations into action and helping create safer, more supportive communities.
